Chris Frederiksen is a native of the United Kingdom and came to California at an early age seeking the “American Dream”. He relishes being a CPA and considers it the great helping profession. He loves helping entrepreneurs achieve great successes and loves to help families achieve financial independence and the ability to retire with dignity on their schedule.
When Chris became a CPA, he won the John F. Forbes Gold Medal for the highest exam score in California. Besides practicing accounting, he was an Adjunct Professor at Golden Gate University for many years. Before co-founding Frederiksen-Crawford CPAs, Chris was elected one of the youngest partners at Touche Ross & Co., one of the so-called “Big 8” firms. Chris is the author of several books including The New Business Kit and 57 Ways to Grow Your Business. Chris has been named among the 100 Most Influential People in the Accounting Profession by Accounting Today and one of 25 New Thought Leaders by CPA Practice Advisor. In 2015 his alma mater, Golden Gate University, conferred on him a Doctorate in Humane Letters. More recently in 2024, he was named one of the Top 200 CPAs in the nation by Forbes.

Tara L. Crawford has been a practicing CPA for more than 25 years working with CPA firms both in Oregon and in California. Tara’s area of specialization is taxation, primarily with individuals, partnerships and professional corporations. Within the tax area, her particular expertise is in real estate.
Prior to founding Frederiksen-Crawford CPAs, she was associated with Dean Moser & Co., CPAs, a well known Bay Area firm of real estate specialists.

Vicky Haney
Vicky Haney Senior Tax Manager
Vicky Haney is a highly accomplished tax and accounting professional with over two decades of experience across diverse accounting environments. Vicky honed her expertise at prominent firms, including PMB Helin Donovan LLP as an Auditor Supervisor, Bregante and Company LLP as a Senior Accountant and Auditor, and KPMG LLP as a Senior Associate, all in San Francisco, CA. Her foundational experience began in the UK with Horwath Clark Whitehill Chartered Accountancy, where she trained to be a British Chartered Accountant. Her extensive background includes tax compliance and solutions, financial statement audits, forensic accounting, and supervising and training her teams, demonstrating a broad and deep understanding of the accounting landscape. Vicky is a licensed Enrolled Agent and has an honors degree in business administration from Brunel University in London, UK.
When not working, Vicky enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, exploring her passion for cooking, animal welfare, appreciating the arts, and volunteering at local charities.
